Matt Saunders is a Senior Economist at the Australia Institute.

Matt has published widely on a diverse range of subjects including climate change, energy markets, superannuation and retirement incomes, taxation and tax concessions, large-scale projection evaluations, the federal Budget, and free-trade agreements. Specialising in quantitative techniques and economic modelling, prior to the Australia Institute he refined his skills at Industry Super Australia, Deloitte Access Economics, and ABARES. He has an honours degree in Economics with postgraduate studies in Data Science.
